About the Journal
Focus and Scope
"Seminar.net" is an international journal, which publishes refereed articles dealing with research into theoretical or practical aspects related to the learning of adolescents, adults and elderly, in formal or informal educational settings. The use of information and communication technologies in general in these settings is a vital field of interest for the journal.
The aim of Seminar.net is to raise critical issues as to how ICT and media is used in education and in society, in order to promote democratic values, equity and justice in the field of education. The journal will publish philosophical, analytical and empirical contributions, addressing various fields coined as adult education, higher education, distance education, flexible or blended education, lifelong learning, human resource development, organizational learning etc. Seminar.net will seek a role as an influential source for the promotion of participation and reflexivity in the social construction of the development of educational technology.
Peer Review Process
After reception of article, it will be screened by the editor/s. If found suitable for the journal, the article will be sent to two referees for further reviewing. Seminar.net practices a double blind referee process. Three outputs: rejection, accepted, accepted if revised, are possible. If accepted on the condition of revision, the editors will decide if a new process of reviews is necessary.
Publication Frequency
Seminar.net usually publishes 1-2 issues yearly.
The Editoral board welcomes contributions continuously.
Open Access Policy
Seminar.net is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Authors retain copyright of their works, and published work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles in this journal without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author, provided the terms of this license are followed which is that appropriate credit is given, a link to this license is given and also an indication if changes were made.
The journal provides open access to all of it content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. Such access is associated with increased readership and increased citation of an author's work. For more information on this approach, see the Public Knowledge Project, which has designed this system to improve the scholarly and public quality of research, and which freely distributes the journal system as well as other software to support the open access publishing of scholarly resources.

There are no submission fees, publication fees or page charges for this journal.
