Fees

Publishing in Techne is free of charge. There are no article processing charges or article submission charges.

Template

Download a word template. Save it on your own computer and start writing.

During the download process dropbox might ask you to log in. You can skip this login by clicking on the link at the bottom of the dialog box.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The manuscript has not been published earlier and has not been sent to another journal (In other cases please make a notice to the editor).
  2. The format of the manuscript follows the given author guidelines. The file is in word- or rtf- format.

  3. The manuscript follows research ethical guidelines.

  4. The manuscript has been proofread and language checked.
  5. The manuscript has been designed in a way that author identifcation is not possible to make during the review process.

    With Microsoft Office documents, author identification should also be removed from the properties for the file (see under File in Word), by clicking on the following, beginning with File on the main menu of the Microsoft application: File > Save As > Tools (or Options with a Mac) > Security > Remove personal information from file properties on save > Save.

  6. The journal have permission to screen the manuscript for  plagiarism before publishing.
